This 4 hour film came out in the Spring of 2018, but it is as fresh and relevant today as it was then.
A truly fascinating look into his life, with rare photos, interviews with people who have known him their whole lives, and much else. Extensive interviews with Putin where he reminisces about his life, early years. Unlike other films about Putin, you get a sense for the what he is like as a person.
The film is made by Andrei Kondrashov, one of Russia's most talented and successful journalists and documentary filmmakers who also made "Crimea, the Road Home".
Highly recommended.
