This year all Northern regions of Russia, known for their Siberian pine forests experienced an extremly poor cedar nut harvest. Low harvest usually happens every four years, but this year it was the lowest for the recent decade.
What to expect?
Starting from November 2018 there will be significant price raise for ALL cedar (Pinus Sibirica) products. Most manufacturers had to raise their prices already and next year they will most likely increase them by 100 - 200 %.
It means that we will also have to raise our prices in Eco-Minded shop.

Well doesn’t this just add to all the other countless food harvest issues the world is seeing from chaotic weather..
Our black walnut tree didn’t make many walnuts this year either... some years there are thousands.. this year perhaps 15.
