The old house smells like mold.

Curtains of cobwebs are hanging down the ceiling as an eerie light is sneaking through the blinders.

Particles of dust are dancing around under a peculiar, silent melody slowly invading his nostrils, flooding his lungs to make the eerie light glow through his eyes.

This was my entry to the new Fifty Word Story Contest held by @gonzo and @sarah-xx on Whaleshares.

The new prompt is the word "Dust".

I wanted to write something magical this time, to make the reader follow the tiny particles of dust invading the human body and transforming it from a mortal being into a creature with mysterious powers, powers that surpass human nature, powers that go far beyond our world. This scene would perfectly make the opening for a story like my Lilith, a vampire tale. Or perhaps a witch story? Who knows... I keep so many ideas, so many lines and short pieces I want to develop in my files... who knows when and how I am going to finish them (if I ever finish them)...
