My 2002 RX-7 Type R Bathurst went in for some minor mods today

For now we have twin Apexi air filters, a racing beat dual tip catback exhaust system with an HKS down pipe.

I went to Apex Rotary/Eurospec in Guildford as I know Ben has mega experience with RX7's.

I am leaving for a little BASE jumping trip to Europe in a few hours, but when I return I am having an Apexi Power FC fitted and will then have it re mapped by Jason at Super 7 Autos, as he also is a rotary specialist, and a lot closer to where I am based.

I want to keep the car as OEM as possible so it holds its value, so once its mapped that will probably be it.

I think the Type R RX7 looks beautiful as it is from the factory, no need to boy it up.

Tempting as it is to look for the 500BHP single turbo gains, I think I'll stick with a cool 330BHP with the stock twin turbos.

Stock Twin Club is the best club (Except my first turbo isn't running past 0.1 bar on my silver FD right now)
