Did you ever wake up one fine morning and decide that you wanted a change? It's like the entire universe has been aligned on that day to make you realize that 'No, my life isn't going the right way'. A transformation is seriously spine-chilling. Predicting the aftermath of it boggles our minds. We spend way too much time thinking about how we wronged ourselves earlier.
Honestly why are we so frightened of a change? What if that one small change you were loathing about perfected the rest of your life?
Commit mistakes and absorb lessons from them but well as usual that tiny Dr. Phil thinking voice comes into our mind and poses the next billion dollar question which is going to leave you sleepless for the next few days i.e. 'Can i amend my mistake in the past'? . Truly speaking, why are we so reluctant to make a blunder? It's not like your one mistake is going to erase mankind and any trace of it from this entire universe. It doesn't matter if you are as old as 50 years or as young as 15 years and you make mistakes. It's the way we perceive things around ourselves and grasp from them. Walk down the memory lane and have a glimpse at your childhood ; We had failed umpteen times to stand upright but every time we fell, we analysed our flaws, rectified it the next time we tried and this is what makes us the real WINNER.
Ponder for a while...... If we never made a mistake or experienced pain then how are we going to witness the joys of happiness?
Life is designed like a see-saw. When we rise high, we feel like we have the world in our hands and when we go down in life we feel that it's the dead end of the road. Wake up and realize that destiny won't always favour you but trust me, the problems you are going through will make you a better person when you emerge from them. The pain will change you but it doesn't have to be a bad change. Turn the tables to your favor; take that pain and turn it into wisdom.
You might not acquire all the things you fancy but don't let your difficulties fill you with anxiety, after all it's only in the darkest nights that stars shine more brightly. Hold your hand up to your creator and praise Him for granting you a chance to appreciate what you have and give you another opportunity to extract a lesson that will make you a better being. Success is not final and failure is not fatal. Its the strength to get up and continue that counts. Tell yourself over and over again that it takes only one person to change your life and that one person is 'YOU'.
Don't be petrified of a change, it's leading you to a new beginning. You might lose something but God will never take anything away from you but with the intention of replacing it with something better. Everytime you feel low and disturbed the past , recall the wise words of Umar bin Khattab who said "People with the worst past can make the best of future".Of course, You can't control the direction of the wind but you can adjust the sails of your ship to reach your destination. Instead of spending all your zeal and spirit in thinking about the dark after-effects of a new change ,why not think for once how your life would be if it went right? Focus all your energy in enhancing your life because just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it turned into a butterfly. So from this day onwards whenever the sun smiles at you early morning, ask yourself a simple question ,'What should I do today to be a better person than yesterday?' Do the work others aren't prepared to face and receive the rewards others will never have.....Will it be easy to change? Nope. Will it be worth it? Absolutely.
