Being 45 and always being a daddy's girl never changes. February 4th 2018 @ 8:50 mst, that all changed. We may have had our arguments, name calling, blaming who did what, and who didn't do. I thought I would have more time. I got to see my dad, 2 weeks after having major surgery. Now, ill tell ya, that was tough. Don't think I've recovered from the weakness. He opened his eyes for a brief moment, seemed to know I was there. It touched my soul, but broke my heart in two. My father is a very larger than life man, and at that moment he knew he was weak. The love I have for my dad will forever be locked in time to the moment our eyes met in that ICU room 1 week ago today. So when someone close to you dies, it's ok to not be ok. Forever remembered, and always in my heart forever and ever amen.
