I am very impressed with the writings of Tariq Ismail Sagar. He is a great novelist. His masterpiece “Commando” has made a deep impression on my mind. I have read it several times. In course of time, my interest in “Commando" only deepened. I also enjoyed his other major books like Mohasra, Main Aik Jasoos Tha, Haideran etc.

Triq Ismail Sagar is a writer of masses. He wrote for the common man. In his writings he expressed the problems of the common people, particularly the middle class. He presented a real picture of Pakistan. His imagination gave a passion glow. His realistic picture of society and the zeal for life. His sharp observation and genial sympathy for the victims add freshness and vigor to his books.
