Climate change has taken its toll in every part of the world; so much so that the hottest desert in the world, the infamous ‘Sahara Desert’ recently received heavy snowfall.
Since then the place has become a tourist spot with photographers trying to capture the moment in their cameras forever. Not often does such a thing happen. Scientists say that it has snowed in Sahara for the third time in 40 long years!
“It seems like the snowy pictures were taken across the higher areas in the north of the region, towards the Atlas regions, so it’s not surprising that the area would see some snow if the conditions were right,” said a spokeswoman for the Met Office of the region.
