Hi folks.
Just signed up this morning and am very intrigued by the Steemit platform. Not just the opportunity it presents for income, but for sharing and helping others gain goals that may be extremely hard to attain without a platform like this. I also like the reason for the formation of Steem. Ananarchists point of view. we as a people have been using an economic system that has done nothing but take from it's participants and whittle down the value of our labour and property because of inflation - Increase of a money supply CAUSING the rise of prices and costs of living. I won't get into the nitty gritty here. :-).
Who am I and what do I do? My name is John. Everyone calls me Stony, Stone Age or just Stone because of the name of our boat - Stone Age. Yes, married happily to my awesome wife, Lucy, for the past 19 years and we have been able to do a few things most don't get to do. Not because we were born into plenty, but because we worked differently than the normal to attain our goals. This type of platform has helped tremendously.
Here's a shot of us and our boat anchored in Placencia harbour, Belize.
Right now, Lucy and I have just finished breakfast on board, tied up at the Turtle Grass Marina in Calabash Bight, Roatan, Honduras. We sailed down to the Caribbean from Vancouver Island, Canada, starting August, 2011. A 6 1/2 month journey that was indeed life changing. Lucy and I have been encouraged to write about and share our experience. We would love for you to "join us" on our trip down and time here in the Caribbean. I also look forward to seeing the merchant side up here as i have many things i will put on there including a 7 day sailing trip in the Caribbean :-). Yes, I will accept Steem. Right now. :-).

What an amazing life you and Lucy have. My sister and her partner have been sailing the top end of Australia and living onboard for more than 20 years now. I sailed with them once from the furthest northern tip down of Oz to Cairnes ~ Dolphins and coral reefs galore. The experience of a lifetime.
I'm sure you will have so much to relate of your life at sea and I look forward to seeing more of the Caribbean through your eyes ~ And videos. Upvoted and following you.
