Morocco

After having every broken part repaired and back in place we are heading for Morocco.

From Lagos to Mohammedia it is 210 nm, so we plan two days for the trip. We are far from the street of Gibraltar, so no problems with huge boats there. The few me meet on our way are at least 1 nm away. Wind is fine, not to much or to less. With this we can set sail for almost the entire distance.

During the early 2000s I was several times in Casablanca, which is about 10 nm south of Mohammedia. Since it was businesswise I hadn't had the chance to visit a lot of nice places, just airport, office and hotels. This time we meet an old colleague from that times who drives around with us and show us nice places.

By Train we go to Marrakesch. Very nice and busy city worth to visit. We spend there one night to have enough time to visit medina and soukh. A great experience.

From Morocco we now intend to sail to the canary Islands. Next stop Arrecife/Lanzarote.
