Captains Log, Day 31, stardate 02072018.
Arwens position as the log is written. Risør Harbour.

The Captain and Pluto the Deck Hand got up very early to try their hand at fishing in the Bay where we anchored last night. It was a bit too early for the Steward. He expressed his dismay to the Deck Hand, who seemed to take the blame on himself, if one where too judge the matter from the expression on his face. But though nothing was said of it, the Captain understood that he himself had part in said blame. He accordingly moved below decks for a morning nap, ordering our Deck Hand to follow suit. Thus preserving the good spirits among our Crew, or at least not rendering it any further damage.

The day was spent sailing with winds good but from a difficult angle, witch made it necesarry to choose a course far towards the open Seas of Skagerak. We reached Risør in the early evening, and as winds where waning decided to spend the night.

Captains Log, Day 32, stardate 03072018.
Arwens position as the log is written: Grimstad Harbour.

Our budget is running low, and the Admiral is unresponsive to our hails. It seems we are left to our own council on the matter. The Captain has decided to stay in Lillesand for a while, to replenish our purses, and our contacts in Lillesand reports there is well paid work to be got there. We also have a few upgrades to finish on Arwen. Among them to cable up the radio, install a solarpanel and an autopilot. As usual, modern parts are not fitting the old Lady, and we need to rethink some of tactics as we attack the problem. The Captain has full confidence in our Crews ability to improvise solutions.

We left Risør a bit late, due to a leak from our freshwater tank, that needed to be mended before leaving. Because of this we missed a few hours of wind from the west, and there was almost no wind for the first few hours of sailing. It became clear that we would not reach Lillesand by sail that evening, and we subsequently set a course for Grimstad, to fuel up, as weatherforecasts for tomorrow says; No wind!

Pluto the Deck Hand was pleased to report: Grimstad: Check!

Captains Log, Day 33, stardate 04072018
Arwens position: Lillesand Harbour.

Arwen set out from Grimstad by engine early in the morning. The forecast of unsailable winds held true, and we had a rendesvouz planned with Mia, our Hostess in Lillesand, around lunchtime. Our engine proved, once again, that it is a dependable member of our Crew, as she kept us on course in the tidal slow motion Waves. We anchored for a short while in a Bay just insidee Saltholmen Lighthouse, where we where met by our Hostess and her friend, Nico, on his Barge. Nico is a diver, who can talk passionately about the beauty of different fishes.

In the evening all crew attended a social event at Mias residence. The Captain is hopeful about getting some new music recorded for our films, as he is currently recirculating old material. We are planning a jamsession invitation to get in contact with local musicians. Lillesand is turning in to a perfect last stop before going for Lindesnes, the southern end of Norway.

Refreshments where ample, and all crew retired late in the residence of our hostess. A new chapter in our Saga begins, as we enter a period of exploring Lillesand and the people we`ll meet.
