Making money online

There are millions of ways to do it.

My way that I will explain here, is sales, selling things you like. Things you know.

As I was saying to article61 on here the other day, cameras are a good source of income. I only buy DSLR'S with extras, extra lenses, batteries etc, not cameras with one or no lens.

If I like or want to keep one lens for my own Nikon, I do, then I sell off the camera, then the lenses separately.

I tend to make a double my money deal, and end up with a lens for free. Sometimes I end up with other parts, tripods, bags etc so I have a cupboard full of them too.

You can apply this to almost anything, How you ask? Oh go on then.

I buy hi-fi also, expensive hi-fi, though used, so most of it appreciates after 5 years, some speakers like the Quad esl-57, hi-fi product of the century 1900 to 2000, sell for 10 times now, compared to when new, and more.

I tend to aim again, for people selling 3 items, or two. I once bought a set made by Meridian in the UK. I bought a cd player, Pre amplifier and two power amplifiers plus remote control. I paid £270 for all 4, and this was whilst in the UK.

The remote alone I sold for £50, then sold the other items separate. I netted £450 in total, pure profit, why? Most hi-fi enthusiasts are only looking for single items.

If they want a new cd player, then that is all they want to buy, or amplifier, so selling all of them together actually puts people off.

Now I hear you thinking, well I know nothing about that stuff, so this is no good to me.

But like I said at the start, you can apply this to almost anything, even second hand clothes!...

How so?

Again thank you for asking!.

I knew a young lady, single parent who was struggling for money, unable to work due to her young child.
She had plenty of time to do most things, as long as she could take the child with her, work then was out of the window, for now at least.

So I asked her what she liked, the answer was fashion, she had the eye for it too, very well presented young lady she was.

So we set her up an eBay account, headed into town, hit all the second hand shops, and bought a load of designer clothes, she picked them all too.

I spent 4 hours showing her how to eBay, how to upload pics, write descriptions etc and she took to it like a fish to water.

Before the week was out, she was making so much money she never had to worry about it, or work ever again.

Any car or motorbike is worth 10x more in parts than it is whole, so stripping them makes serious cash, I know, I do that too.

There are many more ways, but if you like keeping fit, keeping active, then all the above will suit you well.

Have a superb day, shepz1 over and out.

Absolutely spot on mate. Years ago I used to buy model railways sets and collections, mainly from non-model railway people of parents of kids who were bored with them and split the sets up to sell on as individual items and a friend of mine to this day does the same thing with magazine and comic collections.

Great post :-)

Cheers, I do it with scalextric too, well I did, until my daughter started wanting to keep it all, so we have a load of that. She will get bored of it one day, so that will be sold the same way, in parts, not complete, have a superb weekend my friend.

Thank you very much.

The heart foundation eBay page used to sell lenses and cameras by the box-load but have recently stopped doing so. Shame as that used to be a little goldmine! Still get some great bargains from the online charity shops. Happy diggin my friend!
