On 30th of october, a bus fell down in gorge at Umtyrra in East Jaintia Hills. According to the news, one person died and 22 person including 20 jawans are severly injured. All the injured people soon were shifted to health centre of meghalaya. One of the police said, that around 4:30pm, an overspeeding bus went off the road and fell into the 100 ft gorge.
As per the media reports, the BSF personnels were returning back to their base from NRC duty when the incident took place.
We hope that these jawans recover soon. And the person who died in the accident may rest in peace.
