God is our salvation: Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14

The Psalm 27 is a song of praise to the Lord, and King David, to whom the authorship of the Book is attributed, taught to us that God and his eternal wisdom are the source of true goods in man, there is no spiritual salvation or beatitude outside of God, King David told us in his hymn:
"The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1.
Only God should be feared, David instructed to us, this King faced numerous enemies and always emerged victorious because he always put his trust in God. The spiritual gift of fear of God is constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, and stability.
David, due to his devotion to the Lord, always enjoyed the spiritual protection of the Lord and his heart was never dominated by fear or hatred. David is one of the best examples of what it means to be a spiritual warrior, he dominated not only his own enemies but also his own heart, and in this sense, David had not only power but also dominion (self-control).
This is how David, the faithful servant of God, explained this spiritual teaching in Psalm 27:
"Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident" Psalm 27:3.
The advice or the sacred listening is a spiritual gift that comes from God, and those who know how to listen receive from the Lord the knowledge of the correct path in life, and thanks to this, it was that David defeated all the oppressors of Israel:
"Teach me your way, LORD;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors" Psalm 27:11.
Putting all our trust in the Lord and his law, and knowing how to wait patiently for the good results, this is the key in our relationship with God, the key to win the spiritual warfare:
"Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD" Psalm 27:14.
