My daughter stops over every morning on her way home from work to feed her squirrel friends. I know how much she loves feeding peanuts to the squirrels, but I strongly suspect that she is checking in on me and while she is here she does any number of the things I might need help with. Then she goes on about her very busy day.
She makes a point of stopping each week at the local Farm Supply store and buying bags of peanuts for her friends. I have watched the squirrels begin to come out of the woods when they hear her car pull in my driveway. Sometimes there have been as many as 10 squirrels outside waiting for her when she goes out on the deck.
She recognizes and has names for many of the regulars and knows which tree a few of them live in. They come right to her and she hands them down their peanut snacks
Squirrels are fun, but I know she is counting the days until spring time when her chipmunk friends reappear!

I wanted to get some of her feeding them for you, but they were too wary of me being out there with a camera and wouldn't come up to her like they usually do while I was there. Two different squirrels... The one in the tree is a female named Bill, and the one on the deck railing is a male named Jake. Bill was from a late season batch of 3 siblings that didn't leave the nest until September, so she is still pretty young

No, she is a personal assistant to an elderly gentleman who lives near me and is severely handicapped. She is paid to go to his home every morning and be there while the nurse comes and she assists him in getting out of bed and into his wheelchair and she does all the chores around the house that he needs done and prepares his lunch before she comes to my house. She often is paid to spend the night at his house when his wife is going to be away.

I mean I know it's full time but it's more of a full time part time job because of the hours right? I don't know when she gets there in the morning though.

She only works 2 hours 7 days a week but they pay her $50 an hour and $150 a night if she has to sleep there. She does okay. the rest of the time she is taking classes for a psychology degree and she is doing a Scandinavian languages minor. Plus she has three teenagers in the house. Her son and two step daughters. She keeps very busy. OK... Falling asleep here! See you tomorrow!

Thank you. I bought a WiFi SD card for my Lumix camera and that is the first photo that I took. I had not been using that camera because it was inconvenient to get the photos into my Steem posts, but now with the wifi connection I will begin using it again.

I think the purpose of the directory was to give newcomers to Steem a list of people they could safely follow. I haven't heard anything about it for a while. Possibly it is no longer being maintained and if that's the case I should probably quit promoting it! I rather forgot that it is there, so thanks!
Hopefully the squirrels will disperse a bit once food is easier to find when the snow melts. Otherwise I could have a big problem with squirrels in my potted plants on the deck this spring. They do tend to do a little bit of mischief. I've got to come up with a way to keep them out of the hummingbird and oriole feeders, too. Friendly squirrels can be a problem.

On the esteemapp I create a 'draft' of my footer and save it and then just copy and paste it onto my new posts.
I haven't used Surfer in a while. But you could always create a footer on a post, and then just go back to your previous post and using edit, copy and paste and add your footer onto your new post.

You can use drafts to make a template. I hit save repeatedly when I am creating a post so that I can always go to drafts and not lose anything.
Bookmarks are great too for things you want to refer back to. I just added you to my favorites list. I use that every day because it helps me to not lose track of people! Those features are all easy to use.
