Oracle Park is a baseball park in San Francisco, California. It is the home of the San Francisco Giants and was built on the site of Candlestick Park, which had been the team's home since 1962. The stadium opened for the 2010 season with a capacity of 49,636 seats.
The ballpark was originally named Pacific Bell Park after its original corporate sponsor. The name changed to AT&T Park when the company purchased the naming rights in 2004, and it became when AT&T sold the naming rights to the San Francisco-based software company Oracle Corporation in 2009. In 2013, the name reverted to AT&T Park.
History
Candlestick Park (1962–2010)
The Giants played their first game at Candlestick Park on April 11, 1962, losing 7–2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The park was designed by William L. Pereira Associates and built by the Fisher Sand & Gravel Company. It cost $5 million ($ in current dollars). The Giants' first home run at Candlestick Park was hit by Willie Mays off Don Drysdale in the third inning of a 5–4 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on May 14, 1965.
The Giants moved from Seals Stadium to Candlestick Park on April 12, 1962, as part of an agreement between the city and the team that allowed the Giants to play at Candlestick Park until they could build their own park, Candlestick Point. The Giants won their first game at Candlestick Park on April 13, 1962, beating the Detroit Tigers 6–3. Their first sellout crowd was the June 3, 1969, game against the Houston Astros, when 41,858 fans attended.
In the early 1970s, the Giants began using a new ticketing system called "Sell Out" that gave priority seating to season ticket holders, who were given the right to purchase tickets before general admission customers. This policy led to the creation of the "Giants Wall", a row of seats behind home plate where only season ticket holders were permitted to sit.
On October 2, 1977, the Giants hosted Game 4 of the National League Championship Series against the New York Yankees. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, Reggie Jackson hit a walk-off homer off Dave Righetti, giving the Yankees a 3–2 victory and eliminating the Giants from the playoffs.
The Giants' most memorable win at Candlestick came in Game 1 of the 1982 World Series. Trailing by three runs in the eighth inning, the Giants scored five unanswered runs to come back and win 9–7. The game featured a controversial call at second base involving Bill Buckner, who misjudged a ball hit by Rick Reuschel, allowing him to score the tying run. The Giants would go on to lose the series in seven games.

A note on other bots warnings:
It's come to our attention that some of the people on this network (keys-defender run guityparties, and bots run by pfunk) have been attacking our advertorial notices by calling it a scam/fraud.
We have contacted the owners of those systems, we've shared our complete source code and processes, and explained that we've been running for longer that they have, and have been trusted by large subsets of users troughout, expressed all of our processes, which are simple, free, opensource and legitimate, and beneficial the blockchain and its users.
After doing lots of research and speaking to many other developers on this network, it's become clear that they use these false policing services to demote other projects in order to promote their own paid upvote scams and vote-abuse systems where they demote anything thats not designed to upvote their friends.
We respect their right to communicate what they want to, even if its false, however our project is highly respected, as well as open source, its already been audited by many users and its easy to confirm that there is no risk in using it.
Both our enrollment system and upvote bot is open source and whitelisted by MalwareBytes, accepted by Github, and we've serviced thousands of users since 2017, our bot is free and will only ever vote on your behalf if your idle reaches 100%.
We respect our users freedom, enrollement as well as unenrollment from our system is done directly on the blockchain and you do not need our services to join/leave.
