The main goal of The Sandbox platform is to introduce blockchain technology into the gaming world.
The Sandbox was founded by Arthur Madrid together with Sebastien Borget.
SAND is one of the main Metaverse (virtual reality where people meet) and NFTs coins.
Ever since Facebook announced the name change to Meta, the Metaverse concept has become highly followed, that's why Metaverse coins like SAND has seen a huge price increase for October and November, from just $0.75 to $8.4022 - ATH.
Recently, Adrian Cheng, CEO of New World Development, announced that he will be investing in Sandbox and buying one of its largest digital land holdings, which is very positive news for the SAND cryptocurrency and hopefully will have an impact on the price of SAND.
For a , SAND didn't even have a market cap of $1,000,000 at the end of October and wasn't even in the top 80, it now has a market cap of $4,543,307,461 and ranks 38th.
