Mukkanuma which is the day after kanuma marks the final day of Sankranthi festival.
There is no particular tradition observed on this day. On this day people meet their relatives, invite them for get togethers and eat together to strengthen the relationships.
It is a paradise for non vegetarian section of the society as it is allowed today. Families also go to the forests, cook, eat and spend time there.

In some villages people sacrifice animals to the village goddesses but this practice is getting less prominent but still ongoing.
Mukkanuma marks the end of Sankranthi festival and most return to their respective homes.
Have a great day.

I followed the festival all these days. I think this is a very beautiful and fun festival. It's a pity that it ended
