Anthony Santi died because he did the right thing.

This is a serious case and a real tragedy. Still, the point has to be made to a lot of you that, even if you believe that morality is all relative, logically, an object can't be green and not green at the same time. If you wanted to hang Kyle Rittenhouse and you are letting this go without any outage, you're either ignorant or a hypocrite. Only, if you're reading this, you can't plead ignorance.

Anthony Santi died because he did the right thing. He stood up for a woman who was being threatened by a belligerent man who went out to his car to retrieve a gun in order to escalate the altercation.

The belligerent manic and his girlfriend who ultimately murdered Santi are both still alive. The belligerent manic is facing federal, illegal possession of a weapon charge; but, under Missouri law, his action of brandishing the gun during the altercation is aggravated assault. The act of his girlfriend shooting Santi in the back and killing him, under Missouri law, was only justifiable if the belligerent asshole would have also been justified in shooting Santi. The prosecutor is a wokester who decided that, because the murderers were black and the victim was white, she wouldn't prosecute.

The people who wanted to hang Rittenhouse falsely claimed the he lost his right to claim self-defense because he was in illegal possession of a firearm. That's wrong on two levels: one, Rittenhouse wasn't in illegal possession of a firearm; two, you don't lose the right to claim self-defense if you are in illegal possession of a firearm. Bernie Goetz won his self-defense case; but, he did serve time for illegal possession of a firearm -- and that was in the bastion of despotism that we call "New York."

Still, if you're gonna go full Stephen Colbert (sorry, full retard) and say that the Rittenhouse case should drive us to change the law, you should be calling for prosecution in this case. The belligerent asshole was in illegal possession of a firearm with an extended mag. The belligerent asshole did retrieve the gun with intent to threaten other people. The belligerent asshole and his accomplice did kill a person who was acting in self-defense. The belligerent asshole in this case is guilty of everything that you falsely accused Kyle Rittenhouse of doing; but, Rittenhouse was facing life in prison because of your moral vacuousness and this Belligerent asshole and his accomplice aren't facing more than a couple of years in prison for committing an actual murder.
