Finally, Bangladesh's first satellite Satellite Bangabandhu One Satellite Launch in Space

Satellite type:

There are over 50 satellites in the space of about two thousand of the country. These include - Weather Satellite, Observer Satellite, Navigation Satellite etc. However, BS-1 is the Communication and Broadcast Satellite.

It's work:

Bangabandhu satellite chief works to ensure satellite television service. This can be done with DTH or Direct to Home Dish Service.

In addition to the areas where the optical cable or submarine cable has not just reached the satellite, this satellite can be sure that the Internet connection

Satellite Footprint:

The location of Bangabandhu satellite is 119.1 degrees east longitude orbit. Its footprint or coverage will extend from Indonesia to Tajikistan.

Through the strong KU and C band, it will cover the whole of Bangladesh, SAARC countries, Philippines and Indonesia.

Stability:

Orbital slots have been bought from Russia for 15 years. However, BS-Ian's stability can last up to 18 years.

Satellite building:

The Bangabandhu satellite weighing 3.7 tonnes was designed and made by French company Thales Alenia Space. And the rocket that is taking it into space has made it to the US SpaceX.

BS-OAN Expenses:

Initially, the budget is estimated to be 2967.95 crores. In the end, however, the whole project implementation was possible at Tk. Of this, the government of Bangladesh has given Taka 1315 crore and the rest is foreign funding.

Satellite Operation:

It will take 8-11 days to go to orbit Satellites bypassing the 35,776 km route from Earth station. And ready to be fully prepared in 3 months.

After three years, Bangladesh will look after it with the help of Thalassa Allenia. After this, it will be controlled entirely by Bangladeshi engineers from Gazipur and Batamuniya earth station of Rangamati.
