I have a friend that does this all the time because he uses them for his camping stove. It works and is a lot cheaper than buying the 1lb bottles from places like Wal-Mart and other places like that. Good job putting this out to help people save money.

I have been filling the one pounders for almost a year now, as a result I have saved a considerable amount of money. While in Walmart the other day I checked the price they were almost $6. Each. Although I can only get them about half to three quarters full, I am very happy at the savings.
