Staring at death

Was on my way from church vigil very early in the morning alone, it was still dark and much people are not out yet.
Then I saw two guys on bite riding towards me with something like marchete on the hands of the person behind the rider. Then suddenly I heard"stop there and hand over you belongings", I immediately started running and they turned them bite to start chasing on me.......
