Bible saying: If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. Galatians 5:15

To live according to the spirit, that is to say, to live the spiritual gifts, is to think of the good of our neighbor as if it were also our own, that is the meaning of all the christian law. Only in this way can we be friends of God and brothers of our neighbor.
Because the opposite of the spirit is the flesh, and those who live according to the flesh, due to their destructiveness, cannot live in harmony with the designs from above. Because we lead a life of righteousness ("Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12), or we lead a life full of sins, and in this sense, there are no lukewarm Christians, the Kingdom of God can be compared to a chess game, we choose the side of the whites or the side of the blacks.
And about this issue, the apostle Paul treated in his epistle to the Galatians: "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ´Love your neighbor as yourself.´ If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other." Galatians 5:13-15.
Paul in his writings does not speak to us of obligation, but of freedom, this means that we are not obliged to follow the law of Christ as if it were a heavy load like the commandments, but to have the law of God present in our hearts to build a fairer and better society, as this saying from the bible teaches: "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good" 1 Corinthians 12:7.
Sin is a path to self-destruction, Paul added, because our neighbor is no longer our brother, but someone who must be kept outside our walls. The sociability of people depends on their gifts like mercy, compassion, patience, and meekness; without them, man becomes a predator of man, this is the fundamental teaching of Paul and Jesus.
