Yesterday started with 2 loosing bets and ended with 2 winning bets! While I do know that France and Denmark both would be qualified with a draw, I still did think that both would like to play football!
Argentina joined the Houdini club with their goal in the 87th minute of the game. So sorry for Nigeria because they really deserved more!

Group E

In group E we only know for sure that the World cup for Costa Rica will end after today! Serbia, Brazil and Switzerland will decide who will go through to the round of 16! If we take a look at the games, Switzerland is the favorite to go through! They should be able to win against Costa Rica. Brazil needs at least a draw to qualify!

Brazil vs Serbia

Well one of these 2 countries will not get through to the round of 16, this is not mathematical but just my prediction. Brazil has enough with a point, while Serbia needs a win, although a draw also could be enough! Brazil wasn't that bad against Costa Rica, they just couldn't find the net!
Depending on the result in the other game, Serbia will need to go full force! They will give Brazil lots of space. So I do think that there could be lots of goals in this game! But the odds for the over aren't high enough (1.739).
The ML odds for Brazil are also to low, that's why I am going to take Brazil -1.5 at odds of 2.739!

Switzerland vs Costa Rica

Switzerland has the best chances to go thought to the next round! A draw will settle the deal for them! Don't forget that Switzerland is number 6 on the FIFA ranking!
Costa Rica did fight like a lion against Brazil, but got beaten in extra time! This will have given them such a big blow, that it will be hard for them to have enough confidence left in the tank to play a decent game!
I will go for the Asian Handicap here, and will let Switzerland start with a 1 goal disadvantage! The odds for Switzerland -1 are 2.151!

Group F

Well how strange it may sound but nothing has been decided in this group! Even South Korea has still a change to go through, but them they do need to win against Germany and Mexico will have to crush Sweden. Even Mexico isn't sure of qualification for the next round. If they loose against Sweden and Germany wins and does score enough goals against South Korea, Mexico could miss out the round of 16!

Mexico vs Sweden

Mexico has enough with a draw to qualify! Sweden on the other hand will need a win to be certain of the next round! But I just can't convince myself that Sweden has the qualities to disrupt Mexico. Mexico has the advantage that they can pull back and score on the counter attack! And o boy, Mexico can switch so fast from defense to offense that it will tear up apart Sweden!
Due to the fact that Sweden has to attack, I will go for the over 2.5 goals here. The odds are decent enough with 2.211.

Germany vs South Korea

Who would have imaged that Germany still had to play a real game to qualify for the next round!
For South Korea nothing but pride is at stake!
I will go for a daring bet here! Once in a while we have to take a gamble! Everything will fall in place for Germany and I do see them winning with more than 2 goals! So my bet will be Germany -2.5 goals at odds of 2.589!
