SBC League: October summary

My third month in the SBC League is over and it's time, to summarize the results. This month again on time :)
This month was clearly marked by the introduction of Molali, my new prediction model for the Spanish La Liga. I concentrated my bets on this League and it gave me some good profit.

Overall

As you can see in the chart, I very good month. This is thanks to the first week of Molali. After that, I continually made some loss, but the month finished clearly in profit anyway.

Lessons learned

After only 2 matchdays it's too soon for conclusions, but I have observed some things about my new behavior following a statistic driven model.

  • I had only a hit rate of 25.9%. At the same time, the average odds increased to about 5, which I think is incredibly high. I never thought I could make some profit with these kind of odds.
  • My model seems to have some trouble predicting the correct score, while it is better at predicting the correct winner and even a few draws. I will keep an eye on that.
  • Without the outstanding bet at the game Real Madrid - Levante, which Levante won and had odds of 21, I would have made some loss again this month. This could be a sign that this was only a lucky month and in the long term I will keep losing money.
