Don't worry, they use the secure SteemConnect system from the Busy.org developers. It handles your key and Utopian never gets them. They cannot do anything with your account but you can posting to the Steem blockchain from there. It is all open source and clean.

No, you just need to connect it via SteemConnect. Then you create a new contribution, pick the category and open source repository, read and follow the rules and make a post with the familiar busy editor. I contributed to some open source project before joining Steemit. I translated some Debian Handbook written by Raphaël Hertzog into Indonesian language, also joined Blankon Linux (Linux distro made by Indonesian to Indonesian), but not actively contributed anymore. That is why many blogs suck -> They are 100% politically correct and write about boring shit like UTopian to get that cash. There is nothing wrong with it and it is a good way to improve Steem!
However, such posts are just boring and unpersonal (I still write them rarely tho, who doesn't love cash?!)
People come to my blog to read entertaining and honest posts which often involve hate speech, racism and sexism (yes I am evil according to some people)
