Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. - Hebrews 13:8
One of the things that make our walk with God glorious and overwhelming is the consistency of God.
Paul used our text today to encourage the early Christians to pay attention to what they had been taught and live accordingly.
For just today there were divers and strange doctrines that could distract them.
No matter how inconsistent we are by nature there can be a great turn around in our lives what we accept christ as our Savior and obey the word.
He impacts us to be as his master as his spirit begins to live in us.
As we feed our spirit with them? I will be there word of God, our faith in him grows and then we can stand on the word and believe God can bring can to pass that which he has declared and promised.
This revelation kept Paul and others faithful in season and out of season.
Do you want to be consistent? You must seek the truth with all your heart.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. - John 8:31-32.
We become consistent when we start with the word, stay on the word and end the day with the word.
There is power in constant consistency. Be consistent in your walk with the master.
