Isaiah 55:10-11
10 "As the rain and snow come down from heaven and stay upon the ground to water the earth, and cause the grain to grow and to produce seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry,
11 so also is my Word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It shall accomplish all I want it to and prosper everywhere I send it.(Living Bible)
The word of God is powerful and life.
God's word is life, because it gives life to the lifeless, hopeless, powerless and the less privilege.
God's word is light because it brightens and lightens a believers life Psalms 109:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
It gives directions and peace to believer.
God's words is wisdom and everything you need is in God's word(the bible).
God's words is for a purpose and each words contains it's unique blessing and aim.
The reading passage above shows that God's word is meant to accomplish his aim on earth (in the life of a believer). It is meant to prosper and bring out fruit. Fruits is the result and the outcome of the word to believers.
THE ESSENCE OF GOD'S WORD (Isaiah 55:11)
- produce effect
- produce fruit that is bear fruits
- to fulfill purpose
- to prospers
- to heal
- to change, mould and establish.
We are called by God to bear fruits and we cannot bear this fruits by our own power or might, that is why we have God's word. A believer is supposed to study the word of God everyday, after you pray to God, listen to Him by reading His word (Bible) everyday to hear what He has to say in response.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, He words are Yes and Amen, He can never fail because He is not man,He never lied.
In John 1:1
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.(Amplified Bible)
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and God is the word so He (God) cannot lie about His word because His Himself is the word.
The word of God for your life will come to pass in it due season, just wait and pray, His word cannot go back to Him without bearing good and fruitful fruits.
