Titus 2:11 King James Version (KJV)

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12:Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13:Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ"

Often time we discussed about have and sees it as a very wonderful concept. But what exactly is Grace?
Grace simply means unmerited favor, goodwill , loving kindness. Grace means that God showered favor and blessing on people who never deserve or earn it in anyway. They deserved His judgment and wrath.

The Bible makes us to understand that we are save by grace . Nothing is more certainly revealed in the Bible than our reliance on God's grace for redemption. Paul said to the saints at Ephesus, "by grace are ye saved"
(Eph. 2:5KJV: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

WHAT GRACE DOES:

A. Grace saves by bringing salvation to be people:

When Paul writes, “For the grace of God has appeared,” he is referring to the embodiment of grace in the person of Jesus Christ, who was “full of grace and truth” ( John 1:14 ). It is not that God’s grace is missing from the Old Testament. No one was saved in the Old Testament apart from God’s grace. But as John 1:17 states the contrast, “For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.” God rightly could have sent His Son to condemn us and judge us. But instead ( John 3:17 ), “For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”

B. Grace trains us to deny Ungodliness And Worldly Desires.

When God’s unmerited favor in Jesus Christ is experienced by an individual, it's helps the individual to want to please God and do more in everything that they do.
As you meditate on God’s Word, you begin to realize that there is much in your life that doesn't please Jesus Christ, he who surrendered himself to deliver the world from God’s wrath and judgment. So, you begin walking on the path that Jesus described as denying yourself daily, taking up your cross, and following Him in Luke 9:23 .
"23 KJV:And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
This includes saying no to ungodliness .

WHAT GRACE DOES NOT

  1. Grace does not circumvent Jesus Christ.

John 1:17 "AMP":For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.

God's loving kindness for man sin has been shown by gifting his only son Jesus Christ to the world. Therefore In Christ "we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace"

  1. Grace does not ignore the Gospel.
To preach the gospel is to distribute saving grace. grace isn't supposed to be the means by which we neglect the gospel it is actually the means by which we can now, from the heart, strive to distribute the gospel of God with increasing success.

  2. Grace does not give license to sin.
Roman's 6:1AMP:What shall we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God’s grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow?

The triumph of God's grace over sin is not to be interpreted as a license for the Christian to indulge in unrighteousness. "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof"

In conclusion, the grace of God teaches us how to live right in this world , And also preparing us and looking forward to world to come! Of course, this wonderful grace of God that has appeared to all men.
