You can turn your past failures and mistakes to success.

Philippians 3:12-14 Kjv

Not all as though I had attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before before, I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

It has been said that what happens to you is not as bad as how you react to them. Such that your reaction is what seals your failure or determines your next level at the end of the day. Paul the apolstle was one man who failed at life in various major ways, but he had a way of staging comebacks that would marvel everyone. He was once stoned to death, but he rose up suddenly and proceeded on his assignment and did great exploits. He was the least of all the apostles of Jesus because of how he had persecuted the church of Jesus Christ, but he didn’t mind but rather pressed forward in life and became the foremost in making impact.

In our text, Paul Apostle took a little time to share few of his success secretes which can be deliberated thus:

Do not blame anyone for your failure:

One you can find someone to blame, the you have forfeited the capacity to rise again. This is very important and valid point. You do not need to blame others for your mistakes but rather own up the mistake, this shows responsiveness. Blaming no one but taking responsibility for your action or inaction but take responsibility.

Do not dwell in the mistakes:

Paul said “I forgot the things that are behind…”. You must never allow the past define your future. Yo4’ve got to let go of the mistakes of the past. Looking back is declaring yourself unfit. Little wonder Lot’s wife became a pillar of salt immediately she turned back to look at the city which God told them to leave. Although there are two sides to the story. Some would say that she turned back because she remembered her jewelry which she had forgotten in their house while rushing to pack and leave the land. Another school of thought said that she purposefully turned back to say how the people were destroyed by fire and was also tempting God to see whether what they’ve be forewarned was going to happen to her. In summary of this point, here’s the deal, apologize where you need to, restitute where you have to and move on.

Learn from the mistakes:

When you learn from your mistakes then what happened is no longer bad anymore, but becomes an advantage for you. So much good can come out of your downfall that can make you rise above where you used to be before fell.

Correct what can be corrected

Make corrections, make changes and improved things, including yourself. Do this and you will bounce back big time.
