HUMILITY IS NOT A WEAKNESS

Philippians 2:8
“And after He had appeared in form, He abased and humbled Himself and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!”
Being humble is not a sign to show that you are weak, it is the lord who exalt a person and bring another down, when it is your time to be exalted no man or enemy can counter cross it, being humble is a necessity not only to God but should be applied in your daily life the bible say that “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble” being humble in the sight of the lord attracts favor from God, when you are with the spirit of humility not only do you attract the favor of God but also wisdom the bible say in proverb 11:2 “ when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom”, many of at times people do not humble their self before God, they tend not to listen and do what they must, Jesus Christ walked on this earth with humility till it was time for me to be exalted, the bible say if my people, who called me by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face God will hear from heaven, Jesus Christ from time to time in humbleness, prayed and seek his father, many at times people do not wait for them to be exalted by God, they exalt themselves.
Luke 14:11
“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted”
Humble yourself allow God to teach you, the bible say God guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his ways, God doesn’t teach the proud, even as we being humans there are limitations to what we say or do to proud, but when you meet a humble person nobody tells you the differences, when Jesus came he appeared in human form, He humbled himself to obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on the cross, and God elevated Him to a place of highest honor and gave Him a name that is above all other name, a name that carries power and authority. One thing we can learn from our savior is His humility, if want to go far and be honored in life be like Jesus be humble the bible says that “the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory”
