Silence is sometimes opportune

Silence is not a cause for trouble as many think on the contrary silence is sometimes necessary and prudent. Many intelligent people apply silence as part of prudence and in many cases they apply it in family or social gatherings, and the Bible is the wisest book in history that tells us that in many words there is no lack of sin.

Proverbs 10:19
19 In the many words there is no lack of sin;
But he who restrains his lips is prudent.
(Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960).

This does not mean that the person is silent at all times and during a conversation or meeting, but that he discerns when he can speak and when to remain silent.

In addition, the Bible also tells us that when we remain silent in a timely manner, it keeps its soul from anguish.

Proverbs 21:23
23 He who keeps his mouth and his tongue,
His soul keeps from anguish.
(Reina Valera 1960 (RVR1960)

Silence is a weapon of wisdom that is used in auspicious moments and in opportune times because otherwise it will bring us many adversities.
This is extremely important because in this sense the Bible states that even when the fool is silent he is counted as wise.

Proverbs 17:28
28 Even the fool, when he is silent, is considered wise;
He who closes his lips is intelligent.
(Reina-Valera 1995 (RVR1995).

Here we can determine that in many cases silence is a message of wisdom in the face of folly to be prudent and get rid of some embarrassing situations.
Silence also allows us to avoid pecaso when we are attacked or offended by other people.

God has always given us the guidelines through his word so that we behave and glide wisely before society.
