Matthew 5: 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will receive consolation.
Each of the Beatitudes are connected with each other, the Beatitudes show the character of the true believer.
Blessed are those who mourn our Lord says, happy the sad, sounds something not logical but we must remember that our Savior is giving us the code of conduct of the heirs of his kingdom.
But before seeing what this means or what it does not mean, it is also good to know what it does to our body to cry.
It is proven that the people who cry the least are those who have more stress and therefore are the most prone to both physical and psychiatric diseases say some doctors.
Crying is like a valve that God placed on men to be able to lower the internal pressure that we carry and thus be able to express the pain that we have inside.
Medically when we are sad and we express it with crying, automatically the body releases substances that play the role of a natural painkiller, which helps the pain is not as strong as it seems.
In this way, crying causes two kinds of hormones called opioids and oxytocin to be released, which have the capacity to make the pain not so strong.
In this case they work as natural anesthetics, which give us peace of mind.
Really the power to cry is a blessing from God, the pain and anxiety contained can affect us badly if we remove it by means of tears.
--- IS GOD INCREDIBLE DO NOT BELIEVE? -
There are several kinds of crying, there are several kinds of suffering !!
For example, there is THE NATURAL SUFFERING OF LIFE.
We express this suffering when a loved one dies, for example, when we are disappointed throughout our lives.
Abraham wept when his wife died, our Lord wept when Lazarus died because he loved him, I cry when he saw Jerusalem because of his unbelief, we can cry for natural reasons and even for our devotion.
But one can also cry for an INCORRECT SUFFERING.
For example, when a thief is captured, he cries but not because he is repentant, he cries because he was captured.
The word that is translated to cry in the second beatitude indicates a sorrow that begins in the heart, takes possession of the whole person, and manifests externally.
For many, crying is a symbol of weakness but, as we have already said, our Lord goes against what the world says!
To those who grieve over their sin and the sin that surrounds them, Jesus gives them a promise !!
They will receive consolation.
And you may wonder, in what way is one comforted? Do we have to wait until our death to be consoled?
Not my brothers, one way that God comforts us is when he forgives our sins!
What greater consolation for a person who has been condemned to death can receive but is that he is forgiven his punishment!
Those who mourn for their sins, those who hurts their sin and lament sincerely receive the comfort of knowing that God has forgiven them !!
What a great consolation we receive even when we are persecuted for the sake of the gospel, what a comfort so great to see the divine promises!and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
How many men and women did not care to die for example in the inquisition because of the gospel, they were tortured by the faith that you have, and they never bowed down!
Do you grieve for the current state of the church?
If you hurt your beloved brother God will comfort your heart.

I learned something new from this publiction: "Medically, when we are sad and we express it with weeping, the body automatically releases substances that play the role of natural pain killer, which helps the pain is not as strong as it seems."
With the consolation of Jesus we will be happy.

Repentance results in forgiveness and cleansing from God (Psalm 30:5). When we have trusted in Jesus as our personal substitute for sin, we no longer stand condemned (Romans 8:1). Rather than wallow in guilt and shame, we realize that we stand justified before God (2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:24).
