How's your coffee!? scratch

I achieved eternal punk status! Yeah!

It started when I had to Power Down in January and was seeking help from the squatting movement in Amsterdam. I got shelter and was able to relax the mind and the body although I didn't clean myself anymore because of depression and also because there was only cold water and no washing machine in the industry hall near Sloterdijk Station at sub-zero temps.

One day after an insane breakcore (faster!!) party for outlaws we cleaned all the shit up and someone offered to wash everyones clothes in the house of his parents. I put all my clothes in a plastic bag and wore my newly bought Captain America onesie I got for being able to put all my clothes to the washing at the same time.

Long story short someone mixed up the bags and all my clothes went into the trash. Unable to recover them I wore only the onesie and soon later got a jeans which was brought home from dumpster diving for me. With new jeans and a new haircut I lived the life of a squatter. Supported other squatters who were about to be evicted or in other form of trouble and because I never had scabies I didn't think much about the consequences of not cleaning myself properly for a while.

Shortly after the itch started and then the scratch. I looked it up on the Internet and diagnosed scabies. So I went to the pharmacy because I didn't have money for a doctor and told them about it. The woman there looked at it and said that it looks like fungus and sold me anti-fungal cream.

The cream worked a bit but it never stopped fully so I bought another cream and another with different chemicals until I couldn't afford more cream and then started to use povidone-iodine.

Because I blindly trusted the woman at the pharmacy I kept using the iodine because it works against all fungi. Half a year passed and I was very sad that I had this terrible problem on my skin. So 3 days ago I went again into a pharmacy because the expensive anti-fungal tablets I bought didn't show the desired effect. It was there when the man behind the counter said with a strange look in his face that he thinks that I got scabies.

The coin missed my hand while he gave me back the change money. No touching, shit's contagious! And with the new product I use now - benzylbenzoate - it got better already. The problem is that my bank stopped servicing me and now I cannot send any crypto to my account and am out of money and therefore cannot go into a hostel or hotel and wash all my clothes which is necessary to kill the little bugs who are harmless. All they do is make tunnels under the skin and poop from time to time which makes the body react and it starts itching.

This was in the morning. In the meantime I had a great idea. Why not go to the caldeiras (the hot volcanic boilers) and sink everything for a few minutes? Thought, done, I was on my way and after an hour of walking and a bit of hitchhiking reached my destination 2 hours ago.

I first sinked the swimming trousers and the shirt, then went to the bathroom and applied the new medicine on the whole body. Then I put on the 2 pieces and put all the rest of the clothes including shoes into the big blanked, closed it at the top with a rope I borrowed and sinked it here:

What happened then is a secret. OK because it's you I will tell it. The rope was getting lose and the whole thing was about to open which meant all pieces would have been going into the boiler. A terrible mistake. With the help of 2 people and a lot of luck we were able to get the heavy soaked blanket with everything in it safely out of the water! I said so many times sorry and that I was "the most terrible tourist ever" but they were not angry. We joked that we wouldn't talk about it but hey, nobodies perfect so there you go.

There was so much more happening but I hardly make more than 10 dollar per post so I gotta keep it short :D
Ah yes the scabies! Check it out:

I later told some people about Steemit. Some were Italian, some Azorean and it might be that they will buy some cryptocurrencies from me in the future.

Let us know if the blanket dip helped?

I can tell you already that it helped because the water is over 70 degrees and to end the life of mites it takes only 60 degrees Celsius. The benzylbenzoate which I applied from top of the head, the ears and down to the soles is a contact poison for mites and also kills the eggs. Now I just have to repeat the treatment in 2 weeks and everything will be tutto bene :)

Lesson which Im sure you learned...don't always trust health professionals. Though always get their opinion too!!!

Yep

i hope so they will buy some cryptocurrencies :D xD

Me too, I am in talks with a new reataurant owner who might give me an open ear in the near future.

Oh man I know what you are going through! My daughter caught this in hospital and when she returned home we all had to be treated for them.

Which meds did you take, internal pills or topical cream?

I used topical cream and it really hurts and burns when it end up in your eyes!

True

Amen! 🙏

that is so dangerous ,are you alright now ?

Hi, it's harmless. I would like to buy cortisone cream for supporting the healing process but for that I don;t have money. I hardly make enough to eat and drink. am constantly hungry.

Oh I didn't know that your a spam bot and will take my upvote away from you again.
