Many warned about it. Cryptokami, which raised almost $12 million finally pulled an exit scam. However, I believe many of us could done more about it. For example, they claimed that they will be listed on exchanges like Kucoin, Yobit, and gate.io. A simple statement denying that from exchanges could been useful.
Also, promotion services should do some due diligence and not promote highly risky (anonymous team) projects like this.
The cryptomarket is risky but investing in projects with anonymous team is especially risky! Do your own research!
