It's completely incomprehensible to me that Bitconnect still has a market capitalization of nearly $ 400 million. A company without a business and without a serious business concept is valued at 400 million, you have to imagine that. That is one third of Steem's market capitalization.

The fact is you can't lend bitcoins for interest because bitcoins are gonna be a limited amount and the bitcoins for the interest on those bitcoins will never exist and therefore can never be paid.

I don't find joy in other peoples loss but I guess now all the smart ppl say what did I tell you. I have not invested in bcc but this is bad for whole crypto so not sure why find joy in this? ShitConnect sounds more poetic. :)

I invested $100 and earned $300-$400 from this platform.

First rule of investment: never invest an amount that you can't afford to lose.
I took out that money from the platform from time to time and invested in altcoins. It proved profitable.
Second rule of investment: never put all your eggs in one basket.

But people are greedy and they think in the straight-line.

A lot of people are taking shit about crypto currency at this time but for the real crypto enthusiasts, it's a BIG opportunity to buy more because the altcoin prices are very low at this point. I'm waiting for your next post on coin recommendation @hilarski. It has been helpful.

This is very good news. It was a blight on the entire crypto market.

Nothing more than a ponzi scheme that lured many in. A lot of people, the early ones, got out with money....of course, like all ponzis, the ones at the end were stuck holding the bag.

Its finally caught up with them. Ponzi classic right here not enough money coming in to support what should be going out. Always happens with all these programs yet people poor millions into this shit no matter how much you try and tell them not to.

The sad part here though is no one is a winner, everyone loses (I am not invested in bit connect at all) But whats really bad is now that bitconnect is gone some other bull shit will launch and people will do the same damn thing all over again.

It is solely the result of people blindly investing to get rich... Bitconnect has always been a scam, and cannot be blamed for taking the money of stupid investors.. People need to learn that PROFITS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED period. I am sad so many people got hurt and lost life savings, but I cannot feel too bad as this was so clearly a scam.

Those who lost money on Bitconnect, another building block(failure) created as a foundation for success. FAILURE IS THE MOTHER OF ALL SUCCESS! If you will not fail, you won't learn. If you keep on winning, expect a failure to come, if you want more success.

In my opinion, those coins/tokens with affiliate programs attached to them would most likely end up in struggle and in the long run will fade away slowly by slowly.

All the top 25 coins/tokens on Coinmarketcap.com I'd seen lately have no affiliate programs attached to those coins/tokens. The top 26 is Binance with affiliate program attached to it as we all know. If Binance won't stop its affiliate program, it will not survive in the long haul in my opinion. Why? Its because many affiliates would take advantage of this program especially those experts in affiliate marketing. They would advertise like crazy even to the point of creating some fancy ads (sometimes over descriptive even to the point of not related to the company they're promoting) of any sort to get huge signups. How much more if the affiliate program has also an MLM attached to it, it will be much worse.

While I hate days like today they are needed. It’s like asking your accountant to go on a mandatory two week vacation just to make sure they have not been covering up anything shady going on.

ho its really a bad. Situation for the who invest in the bitconect..i think this bitconnect running from the last 2 years with a good profits intitially we need to invest the 100 usd and they give a daily basis intrest 1 t0 2 % based up on the trade..its a good to investors..but present the decisions taken by them is really a sad to here to the all investors..they need to lose more amount ..from 1 week onwords tottally crypto field is crashed because of the uk and usa tradings stopped ..by the yesterday only total 50 % rates was down and total in lose state and traders also not investing any thing in the coins...thank you for sharing information with us...

Yea been telling people this for a while and actually have some friends who tried to get me on it. While it sucks to have people loose money I am glad the truth is finally revealed.

I am surprised it lasted this long. What a scam indeed.

Of course @craig-grant comes to mind, glad this community got rid of him before but I am sure he will be even more so now.
