Don't fall for the OneCoin lies -- Latest tactics are to use the recent fall in Bitcoin and Bitfinex hack -- We need to be ready to help the victims!

I've had a few friends fall victim to this completely fake cyptro currency, and if someone tries to get you involved in it, DO NOT FALL FOR ANY OF THEIR PITCH!

The first think you can ask them is where are they listed on the open crypto marketing showing at http://coinmarketcap.com/ I've had a few of them give me a similar looking site that shows Onecoin right under Bitcoin. It's a site the One coin company made to make it appear like they are in the crypto currency markets. But they are not!

If they were then they would ACTUALLY be listed on CoinMarketCap but instead it's a faux coin that is completely controlled and distributed through this sham of a company. I've heard so many way that they explain this such as it is more stable because they are centrally controlled (rolling my eyes) which is totally against the de-centralization idea of any crypto.

Some of the marketers I've put up listening to then go into how their founder is some Goddess mastermind from Budapest, and they have a strong corporate headquarters located in Gibraltar.

These are all weaknesses and major red flags because it just makes it easier to shut down and squash. Again not a true decentralized crypto currency that are basically impossible to shut down.

I recently asked the one friend that is still in and has the blinders on to explain to me how he trades his coins to get paid, and he went into some cryptic explanation (saying it's an amazing ingenious way to control the price of Onecoin BS) on how they have certain percentage they can pull out based on the volume they are bring in.

So basically you can buy "coins" but you can only get them out based on if you are recruiting or not. He thinks this is some type of great master plan to keep prices up. Yeah it's a plan alright, for the company to rip people off... Errrr!

We need to keep spreading the word because there are people all over the word still falling for this daily... dumping thousands into this scam. And it's really sad because if they were to put their time, energy, and money into something like we have here with Steemit, we could be growing just that much faster and saving a lot of people from heart ache.

The reality is the walls of the OneCoin scam will eventually come tumbling down, and we will need to be ready to help to consul the victims. And we can show them there is a honest alternative out there. Joining Steemit won't cost them a dime, and they can build it up without anything out of pocket.

So it's my hope to form trust and friendships with the future victims in bring them to our community and introduce them to a real crypto currency and with a honest opportunity for all.

Steemit doesn't tear each other down here. We build each other up!

One coin got me here , now I know better!

You guys should watch this video about how OneCoin being a scam:

Great article but there headquarter is in Sofia and I also think that it is Ponzi Scheme !

When I was presented it, the guy told me they were incorporated Gibraltar but it might as well be fantasy land.

I want to say that its a good article but I can't because you are talking about a company that you don't know much about. First of all the company never said that's in an open market with there coin they have other strategic plans and they are doing it step by step. That's why you can't fin them on http://coinmarketcap.com/ They will go to open market when they have around 80% of there coins mined. There founder Dr. Ruja Ignatova is not from Budapest but from Sofia and the also have there headquarters there.
They have some great numbers so there is something about that company they made more than 1 billion revenue in there first year and they have more than 2.1 million members that own onecoins. They have a bright future they just have to do it the right way.
