So, I just lost a part of my overall holdings for being naive and more so greedy, I admit. So scammer created a perfect duplicate of Waves crypto group with exact same name and logo. They added members whow are also members of the same group and in order to make it pop on top of the list in Telegram, they flooded the channel with "promotional" activities and simulated an air drop.
However, next day they contacted me through PM and asked for my wallet address to airdrop coins/tokens. By then I already knew it is a scam but I played along a bit.
My wondering is, how could they use my address and the name of the wallet I am using (such as Jaxx, Exodus, Waves etc) against me? At this point the conversation ended as I did not want to give the name of my wallet I am using.
All in all, be careful people.
