Pump alert - real deal or a scam?

Hello guys,

Let me tell you a story.

So today my friend gave me this link on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/BNBTrader/comments/7nku0t/pump_and_dump_alert_in_35_hours_be_careful/

If you don't want to read it, it's about a discord group with 90k+ members that pumps 2-3 coins a week on Binance.

As they say about themselves :
"This group is nearing 100k members, its the biggest group currently on Binance and 10$ million worth of volume on any consolidating small stock will send it flying. While there's a lot of potential, be careful, you can lose everything."

And they got my attention. Ofc, I wasn't expecting for some free money, but the last year I was looking for something similar in CSGO steam market. And people made some good money. So why not take a look?

The first and already suspicious detail I noticed was the channel structure.
I wasn't expecting to see one channel for everything, it's silly. But they had like 10 different channels

There is a "PUMP team" the guys who created this server, and after that we have many more:

Ambassadors, senators, consultants and so on until the bottom line "common users". The only way to go up from one channel to the other, is inviting friends and other people, basically referalls. And what is the point to get more people if you already have the possibility to earn money? Hm.. Yeah, to get more money. Basically it is a Pyramid Scheme.

But the higher you are (channel wise/rank wise) - the earlier you get the name of the coin that is about to get pumped, mostly by the common users, obviously.

They also have a bot with a countdown, to know when the pump will begin.

When the time comes, you will get the message.

And here is the bright idea, they made to use other people in their benefit.
How do we make people to buy the coin and how do we profit from them?

For example, we tell them our goal is reaching (pumping) the coin to 0.0095btc before selling. But our real goal is 0.007btc or the slightest price decline. And ofc, they bought them much earlier so they don't need to be stressed out about buying them before they jump to the sky.
And every guy on bnb who sees the price below the "presumably price goal" - will buy it.

Today the coin was PPT, as you can see from the screen.

So where did they get money from? From common users who are trying to get some extra-money.
Can we call them scammers? In my opinion - yes we can.
Can I recommend you their channel? The answer is yes. But only to know, what coin they will pump and dump again, and be aware of this artificial price pumps. Because the only people who are making secure money from this, are the highest members the rest is naively risking their money to fuel the engine of the system.
