Check out the comment on the above post which was upvoted today.
There recently has been some push back regarding SteemVoter and their daily trending posts. So, I guess they needed to test the ability to use your vote if the main posts were flagged.
The problem appears to be maximized by voting trails, as some who have never had an account with SteemVoter also voted on the comment in the above post.
Posting to get the word out.
@whatsup, it's jacked and I never upvoted porn....i promise. Someone used my account to upvote all the porn. Dang bots!
Seriously, I hope this is resolved

If that vote was their one daily upvote, then I don't see how this is a problem. It's part of their terms of service that they can use one vote daily on their posts.
As far as trails go - that's not a @steemvoter issue.

I don't see anything abusive from @steemvoter here either. The terms in the website's faq say:
So just keep them to their word and be sure that one of their daily posts doesn't get the vote, and then they're staying honest to their own terms.

Yes, this is not a problem if you signed up hoping to ensure that Steemvoter receives it's daily share of the reward's pool.

It has nothing to do with "ensuring" anything about the rewards pool. It's part of their ToS. If any particular user of this service doesn't like that @steemvoter actually uses this vote, they can unvote the post or they can unsubscribe from the service.
If there isn't any provable abuse - a violation of their ToS - this really isn't a problem.

His own post said he was "testing" incase of attack. Again, if you want to support it. Do so. His concern is obviously getting the votes from the users. Crowd funding, votes, and wanting the community to pay him for his service is silly. If you want to use his service. Pay him.

Both of the automated services - Streemian and Steemvoter - have recently incorporated pay services. It's all part of development. Let them develop before everyone starts attacking them for doing what they have stated they would do. These are popular services that users willingly support.
All of this complaining, flagging, and making mountains out of mole hills doesn't really help. Why don't we all take a breather from the abuse-chasing and try to understand the actual issues with the platform? (Hint: They aren't the automated services or the rewards pool. There are more fundamental issues with user numbers and stake distribution.)

Personally, I would change my posting key. It is possible because he has a lot of voters who don't want to take the time to curate who have signed up for his service for curation rewards. Let's say - Mike signed up for Steemvoter, and you joinned a voting trail, When Steemvoter votes on it. Mike votes on it, and then so do you.

So, you can earn money meant for curation, that you aren't doing. Understood.

Nested reply, grrr. Yes perhaps I do. I think reading content and voting on it, was the intention. Now it is about rewards, and voting bots, and I admit I don't like it.

Hmm interesting. I signed up and agreed to give one vote per day, today they used two. Thanks for pointing this one out, I unvoted. Hope they return to one vote per day. Want to keep using the service.

Why do I want to keep using the service? Easier to make sure I vote for and support a few people. My Steemvoter list isn't particularly huge but still. I don't always have time to pay attention and vote, this keeps me from missing their posts.
