He presented many important researches and achievements, the most important of which is his invention of a laser imaging system that has the ability to monitor the movement of molecules when they arise and when they are joined together. The time unit in which the picture is taken is "femtosecond" Won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1999 for this achievement, which helped to identify many diseases quickly
In addition, the Egyptian World has received many international accolades and awards which have reached 31 international awards, including the Max Planck Award in Germany, the King Faisal International Prize in Science, the Leonardo Da Vinci Award, the Swiss Kars Award from the Zurich University of Chemistry Benjamin Franklin Award.

And published more than 350 scientific research in international scientific journals specialized, and has issued a number of books in Arabic and English, including "Journey Through Time .. The way to Nobel" and "Age of Science" in 2005, "Time" in 2007, In 2007.
