How to buck the rules, and how to get candy!

I recall school as being one long period of extended rebellion, resistance and re-rigging of the rules to advantage myself however I could.

It didn’t always work, but it often did. And there was always the comfort of friends who knew exactly how fucked up it all was.

(I really miss that feeling of being united en masse against a fucked-up system. It seems like today everybody’s on some kind of stupid “It’s all gonna be OK happy drug.” How can your best efforts at rebellion make any progress under lame conditions like that?)

It seems like this is the disobedient rebellious spirit that we have lost as adults, whenever we allow ourselves to be beaten down by an economic, social, legal, educational, medical and political system that just treats us like shit.

Well, don’t give into it! You know it’s bullshit... but that’s why God gave you an imagination. Use it to escape the prisons in which they want to incarcerate you. Fuck’em!
