Difference b/w compound and mixture

I am going to describe b/w compounds and mixture.I am discussing the difference in the shape of points for comprehension and concepts about the topic.

COMPOUND:

                   Compound is formed by the chemical combination of atoms of element.

MIXTURE:

                   Mixture is formed by the simple mixing of things/substance.

COMPOUND:

                     The components of compounds lose their properties.

MIXTURE:

                    The components of mixture retain their properties.

COMPOUND:

                   Compounds always have fixed composition in mass

MIXTURE:

                  The components of mixture donot have fixed composition of mass.

COMPOUND:

                  The components of compounds can not be separated by simple physical means.

MIXTURE:

                The components of mixture can be separated by simple physical means.

COMPOUND:

               Compound have fixed chemical formula

MIXTURE:

             Mixture donot have fixed chemical formula.

COMPOUND:

           The composition of compound is homogeneous.

MIXTURE:

            The composition of mixture may be homogeneous or heterogeneous.
