Elon Musk has just announced that he is fed up with the LA traffic and is about to do something about it. His latest project will be creating a tunnel under the city of LA in order to alleviate everyday traffic for both him and thousands of other LA commuters.

He states that he will be ready to start digging in a month or two. That time frame is still up in the air since permits and bureaucratic hurdles might make it harder to achieve.
Considering that Elon Musk met with President Trump and spoke about America's crumbing infrastructure these plans might be closer to becoming reality than we think. Seems like the funding might already be in place being that the new administration has promised a $1 Trillion infrastructure reconstruction budget.
If boring holes under LA in order to alleviate traffic sounds exciting the name of Musk's new company is there to taper that energy. When asked what he would call it.
Musk replied: "A Boring Company."
