Hey, there Steemit. It would be about 86 out of 100 years that this eclipse would be a non-event because of the never-ending rain this time of year. And whadayano? It was sunny today and clear this evening and to add jam to the toast the moon decided to rise right outside my window with my fave constellation the spider Orion rising due south. I THINK THIS IS A FIRST IN NEAR FORTY YEARS HERE! Woo-hoo.
I don’t think this camera has what it takes to do nighttime photography of the sky but what the hay.
The first photo is taken from Commercial Drive as I had dinner at my fave hippie place: Sweet Cherubim.
Lucky you. On our side the sky was overcasted.
