in science •  7 years ago

Hello, Steemians. Speaking of the curse, of course not loose with the pattern of community life past. Curses are often associated with society with mystical things that can bring disaster. The story of the curse usually arises because of a terrible event in the past.

Because of the mystical curse, many people just believe the story of the curse without knowing the truth. Though the curse is often told is not necessarily an act of astral, but there is no explanation when viewed from the eyes of science. Curse (also called bad luck, witches or hatred) is a desire that expresses some form of misery or misfortune that will override or fall into some other entity (person, place, or thing).

In particular, the "curse" may refer to the harmful desires or pains which will be inflicted by supernatural powers, such as mantras, prayers, curses, hate, magic, witchcraft, God, natural forces, or spirits. In many belief systems, the curse itself (or accompanying ritual) is thought to have some of the resultant power. To reverse or eliminate a curse is called removal or destruction, and it is often believed to also require complicated ritual or prayer.

Since this is a lot of the past society it is very easy to define a bad incident that afflicts someone with a curse. Even in this modern age, the curse is still a terrible scourge for some people. Though not all that is considered a curse that occurs is not necessarily an act of astral beings, but there is no explanation when viewed from the eyes of science.

As well as the story of four famous curses that initially believed people can bring bad luck, disaster, until death. But in the end these curses are revealed by the truth of science. Consider the following explanation.

1. The Pharaoh's Mummy Curse

The story of the curse of Pharaoh's death has become a common story. Moreover, this story how many times appointed to the big screen. This curse of death occurs to the one who has opened the tomb or the tomb of Pharaoh that is in the pyramid.

After being examined, it is not the curse that causes death but what is contained in the tomb of the Pharaoh. The pharaoh's tomb contains extremely dangerous fungal spores, ammonia gas, formalin, even radioactive substances such as Uranium. Because of this content then the ancient tomb of this pharaoh becomes very dangerous to enter.

2. The Curse of Terracotta Forces Tomb

As in Egypt which is famous for the curse of the tomb of Pharaoh, in China there is also a curse of the tomb that is also famous the Terracotta forces tomb.

The world's most valuable artifacts were discovered by farmers from a village in China in 1974. The artifacts represent 8,000 more terracotta troops (pottery) that are 2,200 years old. After finding the artifacts, the peasants just feel miserable.

How not, their village has now disappeared as a dig site. Not quite there, many of the farmers who found the terracotta fell ill, starved and even committed suicide.

After investigation, it turns out the village land where they live contains mercury. So that consumption from soil such as water or food becomes contaminated by mercury which will gradually reduce health drastically due to poisoning.

3. The curse of Perron's family house

This story takes place in the 18th century which tells of the Perron family who moved into their new home in Burrillville, Rhode Island, United States. After the move, the family often saw a magical figure like a woman hanging from the ceiling. And some parts of his family were once possessed and spoke in an incomprehensible language.

Apparently, the incident that befell Perron's family could be explained scientifically. In ancient times, homes tend to have a poor fireplace system. So the smoke from the fireplace can leak at night and that inhale will experience carbon monoxide poisoning. The received effects are hallucinations, seizures, or even unconsciousness.

4. Ghost of the Mary King Trail

The Mary King trail is under the old building in Edinburg, Scotland. Before this path opened in 2003, many people saw sightings like ghosts or fireballs flying. So the people around believe that the path has been condemned by the spirit of the plague victims who have been dumped on the path.

But researchers say that the apparition of the ghost is actually due to a toxic gas leak from the swamp. In addition, the swamp there also resulted in Mary King's path becomes damp and gives rise to a strange reflection of light.

That is a brief scientific explanation of the curse that people often dread because of its mystical nature. Whatever it is, surely what we must know is that not all mysteries are mystical and not all things can be solved by science.
