Precision of Robots

Flying insects that make perfect comb structure nests like the one we stumbled across here when cutting some low lying branches back makes me ponder whether the insects are flying organic living things or rather flying machines with precision building capabilities such as those seen in today’s manufacturing plants.

It’s incredible really how perfect they can build their nests. And what is driving them to build in such a manner in the first place? Do they all have some genetic blueprint in their brain that drives them to work as a whole a build a perfect little shelter or what?!

Hive mind is another strange thought.. how do they all operate as a unit without speech. Unless we as humans on our level of perception with our own five senses can’t detect their language. That seems likely in my opinion.

But something about the design of their nests that peaks my curiosity. The way they build the cone holes or hexagon holes... do they have some design they follow.. is my big question and does each hole signify a once alive insect that would reside or be giving birth.. I wonder?

I’m the guy who can find fascination in any simple boring everyday occurance.. because life is great.
