Good idea and it also could be good way to reduce waiting time for taking off. If there are a lot of consideration about how the radius of the runway can reduced and how much the slop of the runway to absorb centrifugal force and the slop is OK for the taking off?
Don't take me as a scientist. I just wonder.... ^.^ ^.^

yeah could be a good idea for making more runways in less available place that could reduce waiting time but I doubt multiple planes making a take off or landing in the same runway at the same time...
I did find this landing a lil scary and minor mistake cud have resulted in devastating results... thought pilot was a genius in his field... :)
