Sure, loaded with some phytonutrients & weird colors, but these positive human studies have me questioning if that's all there is to it.

3 weeks of spirulina and time to exhaustion on an incrememental treadmill test was significantly extended. "These results suggest that ingestion of Spirulina showed preventive effect of the skeletal muscle damage and that probably led to postponement of the time to exhaustion during the all-out exercise."

I couldn't find a negative study on spirulina...
