What Happens to Your Brain When Falling In Love

Who says when in love people use more heart than brain?

Apparently quite the opposite, When in love, there are many complex things that happen and change in the brain. Especially in the reward system.

What is that? What happened? How so complicated to talk about love...

Yes certainly a bit complicated. This is talking about love from a scientific view point. Okay,... Go ahead!

In a research article on love affairs, Lisa Damond and Janna Dickenson from the University of Utah found a fact: romantic love involves ventral activity of the tegmental area (VTA) and a consistent caudate nucleus in the brain.

Well, these two areas are the most important in the reward system. The system that regulates the course of dopamine in the brain. Another word, you will continue to want to meet the people who make you fall in love. Why? Because she/he made you feels good.

If this keeps happening, just the same with a sharpened knife. Increasingly sharp. your love will be more deeply.

In the Scientific American article, Nu and Tart-Zelvin wrote, though the early stages of romantic love (love that always makes you nervous) and the love that has been treated for years are different, but the brain does not always know the difference.

So also with sexual attraction and passion. Although the brain activity of these last two things sometimes overlap with romantic love.
